Kids, grandparents, everyone invited to study the Bible together

LOCK HAVEN — Covenant United Methodist Church invites families with children to a new type of Bible study, one for all ages. The Family Bible Study will be held every Tuesday evening at 7 p.m., starting this coming Tuesday, May 7. The church is at 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, and the study will meet in the first-floor assembly room just inside the front door of the older, more formal section of the building. United Methodist delegates have overwhelmingly endorsed a constitutional amendment seen by advocates as a way of defusing debates over the role of LGBTQ people in the church by giving rule-making autonomy to each region of the international church.
