Fire crews respond to possible fire at Steve Shannon in city

Multiple fire crews responded to reports of a possible structure fire reported at Steve Shannon near the intersection of East Main and Jay streets Sunday afternoon. The call went out at about 5 p.m., with reports of black smoke coming from the east side of the building. Early indicators stated it may have come from the furnace. Traffic control was put in place at the intersection while first responders investigated. No further information was made available at this time.
