Department of Emergency Services: 9-1-1 phone lines operational again

LOCK HAVEN - The Clinton County Department of Emergency Services has announced residents are again able to dial 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency. Phone lines were down since Thursday evening, following a brutal thunderstorm that ripped through the area. The outage stretched into Friday until about 1 p.m. and effected other, non-emergency lines as well. "The phone issue affecting regional 9-1-1 centers including Clinton County has been resolved. LOCK HAVEN - 9-1-1 phone lines are currently down following a storm that blew through the area earlier this evening. "All of our 911 lines... are currently down," the Clinton County Department of Emergency Services announced. The department provided the following lines that are active for those who are in an emergency situation: 570-769-7814 570-769-7821 570-769-7823 Individuals are also able to text message 911 at this time. "We will advise when lines are working again," the announcement reads.
