(AP) — Pennsylvania has eased its mask mandate to allow people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to gather with other vaccinated people without masks or social distancing, state health officials said Monday. As COVID-19 cases have declined and vaccination rates are climbing, Governor Tom Wolf today announced the lifting of some targeted restrictions on restaurants and other businesses, as well as increased gathering limits. RENOVO - The Renovo Police Department is asking borough residents to stay indoors and shelter in place due to an active shooter incident in the borough. The department shared the following statement on social media Tuesday morning: "Everyone please shelter indoors. Active incident within Renovo Borough. Please call 911 immediately if you notice any suspicious activity."

UPDATE: Active shooter suspect detained by police

RENOVO - An active shooter suspect has been detained by law enforcement in Renovo Borough, Clinton County Emergency Services reported Tuesday morning. The shelter in place has been lifted for all borough residents. The report comes less than an hour after the Renovo Police Department and other law enforcement agencies requested residence shelter in place indoors and in their homes.
