On Monday, the Pennsylvania Department of Health reported that Clinton County added 20 cases of COVID-19, 10 more than were reported on Saturday. Its total now stands at 2,437. Centre County added 130 cases - compared to 74 on Saturday - of the deadly virus. Its total now stands at 10,655. Throughout the state, there were 7,910 new cases of COVID-19. LH police investigate accidental shooting

LOCK HAVEN - Lock Haven City Police are continuing an investigation into an accidental shooting death that occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at a Youngs Avenue residence. Lock Haven City Police Chief Kristin Smith said the investigation is still underway and declined to give further details of the incident at this time. She said a press release will be issued when the investigation has been concluded. Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna ruled the death accidental.

New coronavirus numbers locally and statewide saw a bit of a decrease. On Thursday, the Pennsylvania Department of Health reported that Clinton County added 16 cases of COVID-19. Its total now stands at 2,294. Centre County added 31 cases of the deadly virus. Its total now stands at 10,004. Throughout the state, there were 7,175 new cases of COVID-19. Multiple fire stations battle blaze in Avis
