Clinton County added six new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Since the outbreak first began there have been 143 total cases of COVID-19 in the county. Of those 127 are confirmed and 16 are probable. So far 3,539 people have tested negative to the virus. LHU reports 32 additional COVID-19 positives Tuesday

LOCK HAVEN - Lock Haven University reported 40 total positive cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday afternoon, an uptick of 32 cases since school began on Monday, Aug. 24. So far 822 students and staff have received asymptomatic testing with 781 testing negative for the virus. One new case of COVID-19 was reported in Clinton County on Monday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Since the outbreak first began there have been 136 total cases of COVID-19 in the county. Of those 120 are confirmed and 16 are probable. So far 3,501 people have tested negative to the virus. Multiple fire crews respond to garage fire in Wayne Township

McELHATTAN - Area fire companies have responded to a garage fire that has spread into the woods behind a property along Cox Lane in Wayne Township. Numerous fire companies have been called as a request went out for more man power. Initial reports from the scene indicate the fire started in the garage and due to drought and windy conditions quickly spread. More information will be available in Friday's edition of The Express.
