Richard S. Welton

Richard S. Welton, 65, of Renovo, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022 at Bucktail Medical Center, South Renovo.

Born at Quonset Pont, R.I., he was a son of the late Stanley A. Welton and JoAnne (Serafini) Welton of Renovo.

Richard was employed by Chem Con, International Paper and Sockman’s.

He enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid model builder. He served in the Army.

Richard was a former member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Renovo and was a 1974 graduate of Renovo High School.

Surviving is his loving mother, two brothers Robert B. Welton of Granite City, Ill., and Wayne J. Welton of Renovo and a sister Kim J. Welton of Harrisburg.

A private funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo.

Burial will follow at North Bend Cemetery.
