William Meirl ‘Bill’ Weigle

William Meirl “Bill” Weigle, 79, of Linden, passed away tragically at his home on Oct. 2, 2025.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Sharon (Michaels) Weigle, are his two daughters, Shelly Budinger (Lance), of Lock Haven, and Pamela Tabatabai (Carmen Ferrara), of Woolrich; his sister, Doris Bates, of Williamsport; grandchildren, Ethan Hershey (Miranda), of South Williamsport, Riche Forsha (Colin), of Williamsport, Elijah Tabatabai (Joslyn Savage), of Woolrich; and grandchildren, Kolin Weigle and Colton Weigle, both of Williamsport; as well as many nieces, nephews and one great-grandson on the way. He was preceded in death by his son, William “Billy” Weigle.

A funeral service to honor the life of Bill will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1730 Four Mile Dr. Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9-10:30 a.m. on Friday at church.
