A huge APPLAUSE for community stars on Dec. 13 at Ross Library. Youth Service Director, Kayla, helped organize a visit with Santa, crafts and free books.The Friends of Ross Library had hot chocolate, cookies and small oranges for the 152 visitors. The Lock Haven Moose Club deserves a huge thank you as well for their generous support.
The Flemington Hi-Neighbor Committee would like to THANK the following businesses and individuals that donated prizes for the Seniors who attended the Flemington Church of Christ annual Thanksgiving Dinner held in November. Those donating were: Advance Auto, Arby’s, Auto Zone, Best Auto, Betsy Coffey, Brite Laundry, Burger King, Candy Showan, Carlee Showan, Clinton Lanes, Mary Confer, Dunnstown Diner, Flemington Ladies Fellowship, For Gent’s Only, Genie 3 Wishes Bakery, Hair Refinery, Haywoods, Ingrams’ Market, It Is What It Is, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Kim Bechtol, Lori Peluso, Mary Jane Hoover, Millbrook Playhouse, Monica’s, Number 1 Nails, O’Nails, Permanent Solutions, Pizza City, Restless Oaks, Rey Azteca, Second Cup, Sheetz, Stella A’s, Sunset West, Sweeneys, Tina Geyer, Village Tavern, Weis of Lock Haven, Weis of Mill Hall and eight fruit baskets donated by Hi-Neighbor Committee and made by Judy Durkin. Also a huge THANK YOU to the Flemington Church of Christ for allowing our committee to take part in this wonderful yearly event. Great socializing, excellent food and many happy winning seniors.
