Not all inclusive

Tammy Coakley’s story about the Dress Closet offering dresses, gowns, suits and more has very good information, but the opening paragraph is, I assume innocently, about as out of touch as can be. Contrary to the writer’s statement, not EVERY girl wants to be asked to the big dance by a boy. Our culture that is not inclusive of the queer, non-binary and non-gender specific communities even innocently in this instance is a large part of our issue as Americans, as humans.
Any lesbian, gay, or non-binary students will be welcomed to peruse The Dress Closet. Or will they?
