Did Dave show his license?

SCOTT KNISELY

Mill Hall, Pa.

I saw that Congressman Glenn Thompson invited local veterans to meet Senate Candidate David McCormick at the Restless Oaks Restaurant over the weekend. Only about a dozen showed up. The word about Mr. McCormick’s residency, or lack thereof, seems to be getting out.

I sent Congressman Thompson and Representative Stephanie Borowicz each a letter in late March asking them to require Dave McCormick to simply show them a copy of his Pennsylvania driver’s license to prove he is a valid Pennsylvania resident.

I got no response.

As a Pennsylvania Republican for 50 years, and after voters rejected Mehmet Oz for not being a valid Pennsylvania resident in the last election, you would think the Republican Party would have learned from his loss. They obviously have not.

Pennsylvania voters want Pennsylvania residents to represent them in Washington.

Voters will start seeing signs soon asking for Dave McCormick to provide a copy of his Pennsylvania driver’s license, and why his “residence” near Pittsburgh is in a corporation and not his name, also providing proof he is not a “true” resident.

If you care about where our elected representatives reside that represent us, ask Dave for a copy of his Pennsylvania driver’s license if you see him.

Also, call Congressman Thompson and Stephanie Borowicz’s offices and ask them why they support Dave McCormick, who has not proved to be a Pennsylvania resident and is running for the U.S. Senate?

Starting at $3.69/week.
