Before the badge is pinned on and the shift begins, they’re people just like everyone else. They wake up early, tie their shoes and drink coffee before heading out the door. Robert A. Miller Mill Hall On Jan. 6, 2026, I went to Hogan Blvd. to buy gasoline for my car. I was extremely disappointed to see gas increased 26 cents per gallon overnight. Then proceeded to downtown to see what Weis price would be. Noticed that 7/11 was still at $2.93/gallon. Weis was the same. The truck stops in Lamar were as of Monday evening, prices at $2.89/gallon. What is the problem here? Was it because Mr. Sheetz passed away, so let’s hike gasoline? Usually when there is a price increase, everybody goes up.
