LHU awaits the playoffs as men’s soccer team wraps up season with loss

GREENSBURG — The Lock Haven men’s soccer team fell at Seton Hill on Thursday, 4-1, to wrap up its regular season schedule. The Bald Eagles finish the regular season 8-6-4 overall and 4-3-3 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division play.

Lock Haven will set its sights on the PSAC Championship Tournament after previously clinching a playoff berth for the first time since 2021. Lock Haven enters the championship tournament as the No. 3.

The Griffins outshot the Bald Eagles 15-5 (6 OG) and found the back of the net four times en route to victory.

Kade Black was able to get Lock Haven on the board, scoring an unassisted goal in the 62nd minute. Black finished the regular season with nine goals, marking the most in a season from a Bald Eagle since 2022.

Danny Ogan, Austen Veach, Joshua Horn and Kholifa Sankoh were all able to get off a shot for the Bald Eagles.

Caleb Anderson and Reece Kordes both recorded a save after each playing a half of action.

Lock Haven will open the PSAC Championship Tournament by heading east to take on the No. 2 seed from the PSAC East Division on Monday.
