Penns Valley cruised to a 52-17 win against Bellefonte in girls basketball. The Rams stormed out to a 23-5 lead after the first quarter and took a 43-9 lead into the break.

Talia Cotter scored 12 for Bellefonte. Penns valley was led by Paige Johnson’s 16 points and Ellie Romig’s 13.

• In boys basketball, Jersey Shore fell shy at home against Shamokin, 66-53. Khani McCray scored 14 for the Bulldogs while Jacob Lorson scored 11 and Landon Lathan chipped in 10.
