SHIPPENSBURG – The Lock Haven women’s outdoor track and field team opened the first of three days of competition at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Championships in Shippensburg on Thursday. Alyssa VanGorder found a spot on the podium with an eighth-place mark in the Hammer Throw. VanGorder reached a mark of 152-7 (46.51m) on her sixth and final throw to give Lock Haven its first team points of the weekend. SHIPPENSBURG – The Lock Haven men’s outdoor track and field team opened the first of three days of competition at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Championships in Shippensburg, Pa., on Thursday. Eric Zalar earned All-PSAC honors and took third in the Hammer Throw with a new personal-best and NCAA Provisional mark.
