LOCK HAVEN - The Lock Haven softball team was named a top-10 team in the NCAA DII Atlantic Region poll after the organization released its first set of region rankings on Wednesday afternoon. The NCAA regional rankings are annually used to determine the teams that qualify for the NCAA Division II Softball Championships. Second-quarter run dooms LHU women’s lacrosse at IUP

INDIANA - The Lock Haven lacrosse team built an early lead on the road, but Indiana (Pa.) used a 5-1 advantage in the second period to edge out the Bald Eagles, 13-10, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division battle on Wednesday. With the result, Lock Haven is now 9-6 on the season and 5-4 in the PSAC West. Entering Wednesday, the Bald Eagles had won five straight games dating back to April 4.
