HUGHESVILLE — The Hughesville Spartans won 11-1 against Bucktail in their latest softball game on Monday afternoon at Hughesville after a strong six innings for the Spartans. “They had a pretty good game. Central Mountain track and field sees success in loss to Shamokin

Central Mountain's track and field athletes saw success in a number of different events, but the Wildcats were swept by Shamokin in a dual meet on Tuesday. The Shamokin girls beat Central Mountain, 93-57, while the Shamokin boys won, 99-51. Central Mountain's Grace Koehane claimed a victory in the 800 with a time of 2:32.87, winning the event by almost 20 seconds over Shamokin's Madison Anderson. LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven football second-year coach Joe Battaglia has announced the Bald Eagles’ coaching staff for the 2026 season. Rick Istvan (defensive line) and Josh Bernocco (wide receivers) have joined the staff, while Jeri Petite Jr. has been promoted to Offensive Coordinator.
