During this past boys wrestling postseason for Jersey Shore, there has been nothing but constant determination, drilling and effort carried into districts. Wrestling takes countless hours of practice all year around to get athletes to district competitions. Especially because District 4 Class AAA only allowed three qualifiers from each weight class to move on to states. Lock Haven softball’s Talia Ross was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday. Ross was outstanding in the circle for three straight days for Lock Haven. The sophomore won all three starts, while striking out 8.5 hitters per game. On Friday, Ross went 7 2/3 innings, struck out nine, didn’t allow a run and surrendered just two hits at Tusculum.
