Central Mountain saw nine wrestlers reach the podium on Saturday at the 2026 Ultimate Warrior Tournament in West Branch. Among those, senior standout Aiden Kunes took home a gold medal. Kunes, who recorded his 100th career victory on Friday, earned a 4-1 decision in the championship semifinals at 145 pounds against Bald Eagle Area standout Dawson Lomison to reach the first-place finals. Four individual titles lift LHU women’s wrestling to second place at PA State Championships

EAST STROUDSBURG – The Lock Haven women’s wrestling team took second place at the PA Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships hosted by East Stroudsburg University. The field consisted of 11 Pennsylvania-based teams. The Bald Eagles were led by the performances of Lindsay Laws (207), Presley McCandlish (160), Azariah Moore (180) and Jayleah Pletz (124), all winning gold. East Stroudsburg won the individual team tournament with 85.5 points, Lock Haven finished second with 63 points and Lehigh took third with 39 points. Central Mountain, Milton swimming splits dual meet

Milton and Central Mountain split a swimming dual on Friday afternoon. Milton’s girls swimming team beat the Wildcats, 88-80, while the Wildcat boys secured a 83-50 win. On the girls side, it was Central Mountain junior Gabriella Hosley who led the team with two first-place finishes. Hosley swam a time of 2:23.27 to win the 200 IM, beating Milton’s Rachel Goocey by five seconds, to win. In the 100 breast, Hosley won in 1:15.10, winning by nine seconds over Milton’s Clara Stoudt.
