he Lock Haven men’s wrestling team used a run of seven consecutive bout victories to upend Northern Illinois, 28-8, in a Mid-American Conference match on Friday afternoon in Thomas Fieldhouse. LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven men’s basketball team could not withstand a hot-shooting second half from Shepherd, as the Bald Eagles fell 78-73 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East play on Saturday afternoon at Thomas Fieldhouse. With the result, Lock Haven moves to 7-13 overall and 3-10 in the East, while Shepherd improves to 12-8 on the season and 8-5 in the conference. Jersey Shore competed in a tri-meet against Shamokin and Mifflinburg on Thursday in swimming competition and the Bulldogs had swimmers see success in both girls and boys competition. Team scores were not available for the tri-meet. Jersey Shore's Addison Miller, a senior, won the 200 IM in 3:28.63 and Lila Nestlerode swam a time of 31.11 to win the 50 free for the Bulldogs.
