Jersey Shore athletes have success on Day 1 of District 4 track championships

Jersey Shore Elizabeth Hollick finished the 100 hurdles preliminaries with a time of 16.04, less than half a second behind Mikayla Martin of Selinsgrove, and secured herself a spot in the finals on Saturday. That top-3 finish in the prelims means she’s guaranteed a top-8 finish on Saturday in Class AAA. Hollick also took home a top-3 medal on Thursday by doing so in the high jump.
