It's been a challenging start for central Pennsylvania racing between the cold and the rain and last weekend was no exception. Selinsgrove was the best choice for sprint cars to get their race in.  Mark Smith picked up his first win of the year over a fast closing Chase Dietz as Dietz settled for second, followed by Austin Bishop, Ryan Taylor and Jody Lehman. LHU women's lacrosse falls to East Stroudsburg in PSAC Tournament

The Lock Haven women's lacrosse team traveled to top-seeded East Stroudsburg for the quarterfinal round of the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Championship Tournament. The nationally-ranked Warriors won the contest, 21-6. Gabby Gunnip led the Bald Eagles with a hat-trick, while Makayla Kelly scored twice and Maddy Raspen added a goal. STATE COLLEGE — The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team, the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club and the Penn State Regional Training Center crowned three champions at the 2026 U.S. Open this weekend in Las Vegas. Thirteen Penn Staters competed in the senior freestyle tournament with a trip to Final X on the line. Three advanced to the finals and all three won gold as the Penn State RTC/NLWC went 3-0 in the finals on Saturday night.
