BELLEFONTE- It was all hands on deck Tuesday night as the Bellefonte boys lacrosse team looked to improve its season record to 4-3 while hosting Mifflinburg in a late afternoon contest at Rogers Stadium. LHU baseball falls in nine innings to Bloomsburg

BLOOMSBURG — The Lock Haven baseball team traveled to Bloomsburg for a single, nine-inning battle and despite a valiant comeback effort, fell 11-10 in walk-off fashion. Lock Haven homered twice and tied the game at 10-10 with a four-run ninth inning, however, Bloomsburg escaped with the win after walking it off in the bottom of the ninth.   The Huskies jumped to an early 7-0 lead after a seven-run second inning. LHU softball sweeps Mansfield on the road

LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven softball team traveled to Mansfield on Tuesday afternoon for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East doubleheader and took care of business as the Bald Eagles swept the Mounties, 9-0, in five innings and 4-3. With the sweep, Lock Haven snapped a four-game skid to improve to 25-17 on the season and 15-11 in the PSAC East. Bucktail cruises to 15-0 win against Millville in softball

Bucktail improved to 7-2 on the season after shutting out Millville, 15-0, as the Bucks have now won their last three games by a combined score of 47-0. In fact, it’s been since their second game of the season — a 5-4 win over Montgomery — that they have either not won or been beaten by the mercy rule. LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven lacrosse standout Gabby Gunnip was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division Athlete of the Week for the second straight week. Leading Lock Haven to wins over Gannon and No. 22 Seton Hill, Gunnip led the Bald Eagles with 12 points (eight goals, four assists), while adding four ground balls on the week.
