Bucktail cruises to 15-0 win against Millville in softball

Bucktail improved to 7-2 on the season after shutting out Millville, 15-0, as the Bucks have now won their last three games by a combined score of 47-0. In fact, it’s been since their second game of the season — a 5-4 win over Montgomery — that they have either not won or been beaten by the mercy rule. Gunnip named PSAC West Athlete of the Week in lacrosse

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven lacrosse standout Gabby Gunnip was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Division Athlete of the Week for the second straight week. Leading Lock Haven to wins over Gannon and No. 22 Seton Hill, Gunnip led the Bald Eagles with 12 points (eight goals, four assists), while adding four ground balls on the week. Wagaman Jr. wins 410 sprints at Williams Grove Speedway

The PA Posse was active last weekend at Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedways. Troy Wagaman Jr. claimed the 30-lap Tommy Hinnershitz Classic for 410 sprint cars at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night. It was his first win in the race, worth $8,000. It was also the first oval win of the season for the defending track champion. The victory was the fifth overall of Wagaman’s career at Williams Grove Speedway. STATE COLLEGE – Matt Campbell is gearing up for his first Blue-White Game “without a couple quarterbacks” due to injury. PSU women sign four-star guard Kamrah Banks

STATE COLLEGE -- Penn State women’s basketball  coach Tanisha Wright inked the first signee to her 2026-27 roster in four-star guard Kamrah Banks. The point guard from Indianapolis, Ind. becomes the first addition for Wright to her incoming class. “Our staff and I are thrilled to welcome Kamrah and her family to Happy Valley to join the Lady Lion family,” said Wright. “Kamrah is a proven leader and has the ability to create for herself and others.
