HUGHESVILLE — The Hughesville Spartans won 11-1 against Bucktail in their latest softball game on Monday afternoon at Hughesville after a strong six innings for the Spartans. “They had a pretty good game. Battaglia announces 2026 coaching staff for Lock Haven football

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven football second-year coach Joe Battaglia has announced the Bald Eagles’ coaching staff for the 2026 season. Rick Istvan (defensive line) and Josh Bernocco (wide receivers) have joined the staff, while Jeri Petite Jr. has been promoted to Offensive Coordinator. Shore athletes have success at Dan Wilhour Classic in track

SELINSGROVE — Jersey Shore had a number of athletes competing on Saturday at the Dan Wilhour Classic in Selinsgrove in track and field on Saturday and take home a top-10 finish. The Bulldogs' top finisher came from freshman Elizabeth Hollick. The Bulldog ran a time of 16.65 to take home a second-place finish int he 100 hurdles, trailing only Selinsgrove junior Mikayla Martin, who ran a 15.41 to win. LHU baseball loses doubleheader against Indiana (Pa.)

LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven baseball team hosted Indiana (Pa.) in the back half of the series at Watkins Field on Saturday. IUP won both games, 14-5 and 14-3. The Crimson Hawks opened the game with two runs in the first inning to climb to an early 2-0 lead. The Haven answered with three runs in the home half of the first, thanks to two wild pitches and a Robert Furino RBI-double.
