CLEVELAND — Lock Haven men’s wrestling standout Wyatt Henson placed eighth at the 2026 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in Cleveland and earned All-American honors. Henson, the No. 13 seed at 141 pounds, finished the weekend 4-3 and claimed All-American status for the first time in his career, becoming the 46th Bald Eagle to do so in program history. Penn State won its fifth consecutive NCAA championship Saturday at the 2026 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at Rocket Arena, clinching it Saturday morning early in Session 5. The Nittany Lions have won 13 of the past 15 championships, all under Cael Sanderson, and 14 in school history. The Lock Haven men’s track and field team opened the outdoor season this weekend at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Bald Eagles earned nine Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship qualifying marks. Myka Simmons ran 10.74m in 100 meter prelims and qualified for the 2026 PSAC Championships. LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven baseball team opened its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West schedule with a 4-3 victory over visiting Clarion on Saturday. Lock Haven fell 12-3 in game to for the split. In game one, Clarion struck first with two runs in the top of the third, but Lock Haven answered quickly with four runs over the next two innings, led by a three-run home run by Cayden Robertson. LHU women's lacrosse beats Edinboro 19-7

LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven lacrosse team opened Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division play at home and the Bald Eagles picked up a dominating, 19-7, victory over visiting Edinboro (1-5, 0-1 PSAC West). Picked third in the PSAC West Preseason Coaches’ poll, Lock Haven improved to 4-2 overall (1-0 PSAC West). The Bald Eagles are now 3-1 at home on the Charlotte Smith Field turf this season.
