During this past boys wrestling postseason for Jersey Shore, there has been nothing but constant determination, drilling and effort carried into districts. Wrestling takes countless hours of practice all year around to get athletes to district competitions. Lock Haven softball’s Talia Ross was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday. Ross was outstanding in the circle for three straight days for Lock Haven. The sophomore won all three starts, while striking out 8.5 hitters per game. On Friday, Ross went 7 2/3 innings, struck out nine, didn’t allow a run and surrendered just two hits at Tusculum. STATE COLLEGE — The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team (15-0, 8-0 Big Ten) will have nine wrestlers in the 2026 Big Ten Championship semifinals tonight after a superb first session at the event in the Bryce Jordan Center.
