Lock Haven women remain unbeaten in PSAC East

LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven women’s basketball team used a dominant middle stretch and a monster day at the foul line to roll past West Chester 73-50 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon at Thomas Fieldhouse. Lock Haven showed no signs of slowing down on Saturday afternoon and improved to 12-5 overall and 8-3 in the PSAC. The Haven is now 6-0 vs. the Eastern Division and 8-1 in front of the home crowd. Milton and Central Mountain split a swimming dual on Friday afternoon. Milton’s girls swimming team beat the Wildcats, 88-80, while the Wildcat boys secured a 83-50 win. On the girls side, it was Central Mountain junior Gabriella Hosley who led the team with two first-place finishes. Hosley swam a time of 2:23.27 to win the 200 IM, beating Milton’s Rachel Goocey by five seconds, to win. In the 100 breast, Hosley won in 1:15.10, winning by nine seconds over Milton’s Clara Stoudt.
