Aerial photo of Lock Haven in 1931

Tim Yoho of Lock Haven has sent two aerial photos of the City of Lock Haven taken in 1931, to share with other Express readers. The photos are in the J. Victor Dallin Aerial Survey Collection in the Hagley Museum and Library, Wilmington, Dela. This photo shows the old Jay Street Bridge over the river and a large portion of town including what is now Lock Haven University, near the top of the photo, and two former industries, the silk mill and the chair factory which was near the West Fourth Street railroad crossing.
