The Next Level: Student-Athletes on Campus

Ethan Dale: Central Mountain High School/Alfred State Swimming. Alfred State resumes competition on Saturday, January 13th. They have been off since December 3rd.

Michael Panczyszyn: 2015 Jersey Shore High School graduate and current junior on the Lycoming Men’s Swimming team. Lycoming has been off since December 3rd and will resume competition on Saturday, January 20th when they travel to Kings College.

Erin Reese: 2016 Central Mountain High School graduate and sophomore runner on the Susquehanna University Indoor Track team. She and her River Hawk teammates will resume competition on Friday, January 19th.

Eryn Bartlett: 2017 Central Mountain High School graduate and current freshman member of the Millersville University Women’s Swimming team. Eryn and her teammates competed in the Lynn Sprint Invitational in Florida on Saturday afternoon. Millersville finished the event behind the host Lynn University squad and PSAC member California (PA.). Individual results for Eryn were not available.

Brody Baker: 2017 Central Mountain High School graduate and current freshman on the Elizabethtown College Men’s Basketball team. Brody did not play in Elizabethtown’s 75-68 loss at Landmark conference foe Scranton on Saturday. Elizabethtown will now host Catholic on Wednesday and Susquehanna on Saturday.

Maria Morgan: 2015 graduate of Bucktail High School. Maria is a guard on the St. Vincent College Women’s Basketball team. Maria scored eight points in 26 minutes of play in her team’s victory over conference foe Bethany College on Wednesday. On Saturday in a 60-49 loss to Grove City, she scored a team high 12 points in 27 minutes of play. St. Vincent is now 7-6 overall and 4-2 in the conference. On Wednesday, SVC will host Thiel College and on Saturday travel to Westminster.

Chad Reese: Central Mountain High School/Bucknell Bison Wrestling. Chad did not wrestle on Sunday as Bucknell was defeated on the road at Navy by a 26-10 score.

Richie Thompson: 2017 Central Mountain High School graduate/Wilkes University Wrestling. Richie, who wrestles in the 285-pound weight class, finished 0-2 at the NWCA National Duals in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As a team Wilkes, now 6-11 on the season, fell to North Central by a 32-6 score and Ohio Northern 24-18.
