Castanea Day set for July 18; Event to feature vendors, music and more

CASTANEA — The Castanea Township Recreation Committee and Supervisors announced plans for Castanea Day on Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at locations throughout the township. LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Council’s hiring committee has narrowed it search for a new city manager down to just three candidates. That news came from Mayor Joel Long, a member of the committee, during Monday night’s city council meeting.
