Civil Air Patrol cadets participate in GLOBE program

LOCK HAVEN — Cadets and Senior Members of the Piper Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, based in Lock Haven, participated as observers in the CAP-NASA Aviation Weather Mission.

This mission was to actively collect surface-based environmental observations. This data is then uploaded to GLOBE’s open-source database and made freely available to everyone.

This mission was part of the aerospace program and reflected the core value of volunteer service.
