LOCK HAVEN — The Clinton County Arts Council’s annual Ekphrastic Exhibit will kick off with an opening reception Friday, June 27, from 6 to 8 p.m., at The Station Gallery, 2 E. Bald Eagle St., Lock Haven.
The exhibit will be open until July 20.
“11 artists and 11 poets/musicians have come together to share their inspirations about each other’s works,” Carol Cillo, CCAC board member said.
Poets and musicians include Marjorie Maddox Hafer, Jim Colbert, Ryan Rose, Ted Forbes, Alethia Haines, Jared Conti, Dana Ciccilot, Shanna Powlus Wheeler, Maria Stout, Anthony Lalota and Carol Cillo.
Artists include Karen Elias/Marjorie Maddox Hafer, Carol Cillo, Jackie Thomas, Anni Matsick, Chuck Fong, Donna Britton, Tom Mickle, Steve Getz, Jennifer Deitloff, Elyse Goodman and Philip Huber.

“Come see the original works and the visions created from the work they were given. See which artists were paired together… it is the first time they will see the “reveal” about how others see and interpret their work,” Cillo said. “Poets will read what they have written and artists will talk about how they came up with what they made as well. Always fun, always full of laughter and always an amazing evening.”
Conti, serving as co-curator, will help get the evening rolling on Friday while sharing the written word.
“Enjoy refreshments, meet these amazing local creatives and soak in the gallery at its best,” Cillo said.
