TODAY

— Old School Market, former Rote Elementary, at East End Mountain Road, Mill Hall, is open each Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

— The Light of the World Clothing Bank will be open from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 145 W. Linn St., Bellefonte. Clothing in all sizes, coats, shoes, bedding and more are available. Everything is free, or you can provide a donation to the church. — Bald Eagle Art League will showcase Diane Wyant as the featured exhibitor at the Genetti Hotel’s Windows on 4th gallery in Williamsport from March 6-April 30. Opening reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. Free and open to the public.

— Centre Hall Fire Company’s First Friday of the Month Bingo. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., Early Bird games begin at 6:30 p.m. and regular Bingo starts at 7 p.m. CHFC has chosen to help the Penns Valley Indoor Majorettes and Guard at this Bingo. For every Early Bird packet you buy the fire company will donate $2 to the PV students to help them on their trip to Wildwood, N.J., for their competition. A special raffle will also be held at this Bingo to raise money for the PV students adventure!

— Spring Fling and Easter Things Craft Show at Titan Market, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Titan Market is located in the old Cerro plant at 2042 Axemann Road., Bellefonte. Free admission, lots of local craft vendors will be selling their wares. If you’d like to be a craft vendor call 814-404-7422.

— Penns Valley High School’s Spring Musical, Freaky Friday, will be presented at 7 p.m. in the HS Auditorium. This story tells the twisted tale of a mother and daughter switching bodies for one day! Will they still be the same after living one day in each others shoes?

TOMORROW

— St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding a soup sale from 10 a.m. to noon. Soups being offered are chicken corn, vegetable beef and ham and bean. The soup is $8 a quart. Orders may be placed by calling the church office at 570-748-5741 and leave your order on the message machine.

— KBR Bingo and More will hold a benefit for Tracie Pienzek, a cholangiocarcinoma patient. Doors open at 11 a.m. and Bingo starts at 1 p.m. KBR Bingo is in the Piper Museum building, 3rd floor. Elevator service is available. In addition to Bingo there will be a basket raffle and good food!

— Pleasant Gap Scout Troop 66 is having a Spaghetti Supper fundraiser from 6-8 p.m. at the Pleasant Gap American Legion. Meals are $10 and include spaghetti with meatballs, tossed salad, garlic toast and dessert. Take-out meals are also available. Proceeds will help the Scouts with their trip to Philmont Ranch in New Mexico in June. Call 814-404-5432 for info.

— Millheim Fire Company’s Amish Wedding Supper, 3:30-7 p.m., at the fire station. Traditional wedding supper meal prepared by the Penns Valley Amish community with proceeds to benefit the fire company. Adult meals are $20 and children ages 6-12 are $12. Younger kiddos eat free! Take-out meals also provided at $20 each.

— Wing Night at Citizen’s Hook and Ladder Company in Milesburg from 5-7 p.m., or until sold out. Bone-in or boneless wings in seven different flavors for $12 a dozen and side orders of fries are $4. This is a fundraiser for the fire company!

— Haven Performing Arts dancers will be performing at Central Mountain High School today.

Haven has grown this season and now has two dance teams and three twirl teams. The performers are all local youth ranging from the ages of 5-18. If you are interested in watching these performers do what they love, you can catch them locally at Central Mountain High. — The Oriole Church at 39 Main Road in Jersey Shore is having a spaghetti dinner from 4-6:30 p.m. The meals will be available for both dining in and take-outs. The cost is $6.50 for adults; $4 for children ages 3-12. Younger kiddos get to eat free.

— SVRCS Foundation’s Annual Cash Bingo will be held at 1 p.m, in the school gym, 236 E. Main St., Loganton. Doors and the kitchen open at 11 a.m. Tickets are available at the school office or at the door for $25. Everyone needs a paid ticket to enter! In addition to Bingo there will be a gift auction, a 50/50 raffle and rip tickets.

SUNDAY

— Daylight Saving Time, 2 a.m. Spring your clocks ahead one hour. Be sure to change the batteries in your smoke alarms so they continue to work properly. It’s also a good idea to practice your house evacuation plan with young children as a memory refresher!
