Nittany Valley Amish to host benefit dinner

HUBLERSBURG — The Nittany Valley Amish community will once again be hosting a benefit dinner on Saturday, Oct. 3, for the public to partake of a traditional Amish wedding meal. The goal is to create an exceptional dining experience with a buffet-style, all you can eat meal, prepared by some of the best cooks in the community. The main course of the meal includes roasted chicken and filling, ham, mashed potatoes, baked beans, noodles, cole slaw, creamed celery and apple salad, along with lemonade and coffee. MONTOURSVILLE — State Sen. Gene Yaw, R-Loyalsock Township, and State Rep. Joe Hamm, R-Hepburn Township, remind local seniors and caregivers of their annual Senior Expo on Sept. 17 in Montoursville.
