Heritage Day Festival set for June 13 in Lamar

LAMAR — The 10th Annual Porter Township Heritage Day Festival will be held on June 13 at Recreation Park in Lamar. This year, in celebration of America’s 250th and the festival’s 10 year milestone, all kids games will be free, as the festival’s way of giving back to the community. The public is invited to attend the festival and celebration that will run from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. The opening ceremony is set for 10 a.m. Registration for the kids pedal pull is from noon to 1 p.m. at the ballfield, with official pulling set to start at 1 p.m. There will be games ...
