Covenant Cafe to meet Oct. 20

LOCK HAVEN — The Covenant Cafe, an early stage Alzheimer’s activity group, will be meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 1-3 p.m., at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Lou Bernard, local history and paranormal enthusiast will be the guest speaker at 1 p.m. Lou will tell ghost stories of Clinton County as the group prepares for the Halloween season. Following his talk, Fishers of Men, a local gospel band, will be entertaining the group. Members of the band include Kim Barner, Bryan Boone, Mark Kraus, Phil Reeder and Dawn Jefferies. BREAKFAST OFFERED Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club will host a breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 7-11 a.m., at the clubhouse (in Woolrich) at 84 Harley Drive, Lock Haven. The breakfast is all-you-can-eat and is just $10 for those ages 13 and older and $6 for children ages 6-12. Younger kiddos get to eat free. The cooks at the SVBT Motorcycle Club really know how to feed their patrons. There is a lot of food offered at the breakfasts and the price is fabulous for the whole family.
