McELHATTAN — A Clinton County Correctional Facility officer has been charged with three counts of institutional sexual assault after incidents which occurred at the facility.

State Police at Lamar filed the charges against Kelly Lynn Fye, 31, of Lock Haven, on Feb. 12.

According to a release from the Clinton County District Attorney’s office via Crimewatch, the crimes allegedly took place at the correctional facility, where Fye was employed as a corrections officer.

The incidents allegedly took place between Sept. 8, 2023 through Feb. 10, 2024, the release said.

Fye was charged with engaging in both deviate sexual intercourse and indecent contact on three separate occasions with an inmate while in the performance of her duties, the release said.
