No further update on Mill Hall Wawa

MILL HALL — Bald Eagle Township supervisors discussed information about the proposed Wawa gas and convenience store during a recent meeting.

Supervisors received a detailed list of line items to be addressed that had been sent to Wawa by PennDOT.

There was no true update for the supervisors about the project moving forward.

According to Township Secretary Marissa Morgan, “I sent an email (asking if) there was anything we can do, we have a meeting tonight, any updates. It sounds like they’re still waiting on things from DEP.”

Another facility discussed was Take 5, which is planned to be built near Lowe’s on Hogan Boulevard. Preliminary plans were made available to the supervisors and approved by the Planning Commission.

Solicitor Frank Miceli noted that some concerns were raised regarding stormwater and the access road, but as of this time those questions are still left unanswered.
