Clinton Central Model Railroad Club to hold Fall Train Meet on Oct. 4

LINDEN — The Clinton Central Model Railroad Club announces their annual Fall Train Meet will be held on Sunday, Oct. 4 at the Woodward Township Volunteer Fire Company , 1st Street Linden, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This train show is one of the club’s major fundraising events. Income raised by this event will provide future layout expansion, train station maintenance and other projects underway at the club’s home located in the former New York Central Railroad Station in Castanea. Jersey Shore teen faces additional charges JERSEY SHORE — Already facing a slew of charges, a Jersey Shore teen has now been hit with additional counts of corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to minors and possession of alcohol by a person under 21, according to a Lycoming Regional Police affidavit. (AP) — The U.S. Forest Service is closing 23 research and development stations in more than a dozen states as part of an organizational overhaul under President Donald Trump that is intended to trim costs and concentrate the agency’s resources in Western states, officials said Thursday.
