Various local parks will offer programs that folks may be interested in attending. All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. The programs may be modified or cancelled in the event of severe weather or community guidelines. LOCK HAVEN — The Clinton County Board of Commissioners approved a number of personnel items during its voting session this week, including hiring an assistant district attorney and reestablishing a position in its probation department under a new title. The first item approved was the promotion of Justin Davy from deputy sheriff to level I deputy sheriff following his graduation from the sheriff’s academy. JS men nabbed in child predator sting; third suspect sought

JERSEY SHORE — Two Lycoming County men, one of whom police say is designated a sexually violent predator, have been charged in a child predator sting. Jeffrey Scott Spong, 50, and Jacob Scott Hollick, 33, both of the Jersey Shore area, were arrested Monday in what state police called an operation aimed at identifying those involved in the possession, distribution and production of child sexual abuse material.
