US strikes Iran to respond to attack on ship that Trump says violated ceasefire

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. struck Iran on Friday to respond to a drone attack a day earlier on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz, a provocation that U.S. President Donald Trump said violated the ceasefire. U.S. Central Command said the military struck missile and drone locations and coastal radar sites in Iran.
