Harassment charge RENOVO — Brian Dwyer, Sr., 56, of Renovo, was cited for harassment following an incident along 7th Street in Renovo Borough on June 13, Renovo Borough Police said. According to police, the charge stems from an alleged assault that occurred near Erie Avenue at about 11 a.m. At the time, Dwyer allegedly struck a 24-year-old woman which was witnessed by two other witnesses, police said. NEW YORK (AP) — The Recording Academy has tweaked some of its rules for the 2026 Grammy Awards, including the addition of five new categories. The academy on Tuesday announced the addition of a best Asian pop music performance category — celebrating releases across K-pop, J-pop, C-pop and beyond — awarded to the performer. A new best traditional pop vocal performance category will be awarded to performers whose music “cannot properly be intermingled with present forms of pop music,” according to a press release. LH council discusses ways to combat vehicle noise

LOCK HAVEN — A letter regarding vehicle noise within Lock Haven prompted discussion amongst city council on how it could combat these nuisances. The letter, sent to council in late May, spoke about cars, trucks and motorcycles with “intensely loud mufflers” which can be heard throughout the day and night.
