PSP releases information on fatal motorcycle crash in Mill Hall
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are continuing to investigate a crash which led to the death of a motorcyclist.
Andrew M. Watkins, 29, of Avis, was transported via Life Flight to UPMC Williamsport for serious injuries following the crash which took place on June 28 at about 12:17 p.m. He later succumbed to his injuries.
According to state police at Lamar, Watkins was traveling north along Hogan Boulevard when he was struck by a 1995 Subaru Outback, driven by Kimberly A. Nichols, 66, of Mill Hall.
Nichols was traveling south in the left turning lane in the four-way intersection and did not yield to oncoming traffic, police said.
Both Watkins and Nichols came to an uncontrolled final rest facing south in the intersection, police said.
Watkins was transported via Lock Haven EMS for his injuries.
Nichols, who also suffered suspected minor injuries, was also treated, police said.
The crash is currently under investigation.
