HVAC malfunction sends fire crews to Hogan Boulevard Tuesday morning

Early Tuesday morning, in brisk 6-degree weather, fire crews were called to 210 Hogan Blvd., Bald Eagle Township for a possible structure fire at 9:39 a.m. The building was being evacuated, and upon arrival, Deputy 4 of Mill Hall Fire Department reported a single-story commercial building with nothing showing from the exterior and began an investigation. Lycoming County units, as well as Flemington Goodwill Hose and Lock Haven Citizens Hose, were recalled. The cause was identified as a malfunction in the HVAC system. No injuries or major damage were reported and units were available at 10:35 a.m.
