A propane truck overturned Tuesday morning in Gallagher Township, trapping its driver, according to Citizens Hose Company No. 5. Crews from Lock Haven’s Citizens Hose Company were dispatched to support the Haneyville Volunteer Fire Company. The truck, carrying 3,500 gallons of liquid propane, was on its side with an active leak when responders arrived on scene. After a lengthy extrication, crews freed the driver, who was transported to a local hospital by Lock Haven EMS, the fire company said. Firefighters used handlines and fans to disperse propane vapors at the scene.
