Medical emergency causes crash, driver charged ZION — A 63-year-old driver from Canton, Pa., suffered a medical emergency while driving on Nittany Valley Drive in Walker Township on March 1 at 3:16 p.m., causing him to leave his lane, drive into a ditch and strike a tree with his 2022 Ford F-350, according to state police at Rockview. Two dead in weekend Spring Township house fire

BELLEFONTE —Two people were pronounced dead at the scene of a Saturday morning house fire in Spring Township, the Centre County coroner said Sunday. According to the Spring Township Police Department, emergency responders were dispatched around 9:15 a.m. to the 100 block of Mulbarger Lane in Spring Township for a reported building fire. Upon arrival, police said they learned the homeowners were still inside the residence.
