Boil water advisory in Jersey Shore ends

The Jersey Shore Area Joint Water Authority has posted a release on their website and Facebook page stating that the “drinking water problem” had been “corrected,” and it was no longer necessary for residents to boil water. The boil water advisory, which had been in place since the remnants of Hurricane Debby brought heavy rains to the area on Friday, Aug. 9, was due to flooding damage at the Larry’s Creek water treatment plant. MILL HALL - A portion of Nittany Valley Drive was closed at about 11:53 p.m. on Tuesday due to a vehicle accident, according to reports.
