MILL HALL — Following the cancellation of in-person classes on Thursday due to recent snow, the Keystone Central School District Board of School Directors’ Reorganization and Voting Meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, has been canceled. Non-credible bomb threat made at Centre County Elections Office

BELLEFONTE — The Willowbank Building in Bellefonte, Pa., which houses the Centre County Elections Office, was temporarily evacuated to investigate a bomb threat received via email to the Elections Office on Tuesday night, according to a release from Centre County Government officials. Centre County is among roughly a dozen Pennsylvania counties to receive threats. LOCK HAVEN - Verizon customers in the Lock Haven area may have noticed their data, internet and other services stopped working Tuesday afternoon. Accidents close Route 220 northbound at Avis

A three-car accident at milemarker 119.4 along Route 220 northbound in Pine Creek Township has forced the highway to close at the Avis exit, snarling the evening commute for many. Clinton County Fire Wire was reporting that emergency crews were en route to the area following "multiple vehicle accidents in the area." Another multiple vehicle accident had occurred near the PA-44 north/Pine Creek exit, also on 220 northbound. Drivers are asked to exercise "extreme caution" when traveling through or around the area.
