Local COVID-19 numbers saw a decrease compared to the weekend according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Clinton County reported 13 new positive cases on Monday, a significant decrease from the 40 cases that added on Sunday. Its total now stands at 957 cases since the outbreak first began. DA: City police investigate death of 9-year-old

LOCK HAVEN - Lock Haven City Police are investigating the death of a 9-year-old boy, according to District Attorney David Strouse. "Police responded to the 600 block of East Bald Eagle Street on Monday afternoon where the boy was located inside of his residence," Strouse said in a release Tuesday morning. A cause of death has not been determined as the investigation continues, Strouse said.

COVID-19 numbers in Clinton County saw a bit of a jump Tuesday while Centre saw a significant decrease. According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Clinton County added 21 new cases of COVID-19, increasing its total to 775 cases since the outbreak first began. Centre County saw just 11 new cases. Its total stands at 6,398. Throughout the state, the DOH is reporting 5,676 new cases of COVID-19. The total statewide stands at 367,140.
